Peter Dinstühler
CEO of Industrial Services AG

Peter Dinstühler is the founder and CEO of is Industrial Services AG.
Born in 1951 in Bavaria, Dinstühler attended school in Gummersbach. He then trained as a high voltage electrician before beginning his studies at the Gesamthochschule in Siegen to study automation and information processing. From the mid to late 1970s, Dinstühler worked in planning industrial installations. In 1978 he took up a position at the Ingenieurgesellschaft ZSI Ing. Ges. mbH, where he worked until 1985, first as a Technical Director and then as a Branch Director. In this capacity, Peter Dinstühler became the first European provider of global relocation services for industrial equipment and systems in 1984. In 1986, he also became the first provider of CAE services for international industrial installation planning. Until 1990, he headed ZSI mbH and its subsidiary Pro Industria GmbH.

In 1990, Dinstühler founded is Industrial Services GmbH Germany in Nuremberg, thus laying the foundations for what is today a global engineering concern – the is group.
Since 1999, Dinstühler has served as CEO of the Austrian subsidiary is Industrial Services GmbH in Austria and is Chairman of the US subsidiary Global Engineering Services, Inc. in Atlanta.
In 2000, Dinstühler took his company public and is now its CEO.
Since the end of the 1990s, Dinstühler has also been involved in holding presentations and conferences at the technical college in Nuremberg on topics relating to engineering and international equipment and system relocation. He does a great deal of voluntary work to benefit the local economy and he is a member of the export committee of the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Central Franconia and member of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States in Atlanta. He also holds the position of commercial judge and he served as Chairman of the Brauner Hirsch hunting association in Nuremberg for eight years.
Peter Dinstühler is married and has two grown-up children.
