As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Martin Auer is the member of the is Industrial Services AG’s Management Board responsible for the company’s financial, administration and commercial sectors.

Born in 1965 in Erlangen, he attended school in Nuremberg, graduating in 1983. He then trained as a bank clerk with the Dresdner Bank AG in Nuremberg, where he remained until 1996. During the 1990s, he studied Bank Management at the Bankakademie in Frankfurt, ultimately qualifying in Bank Management with the equivalent of a BA in 1997. At the Dresdner Bank, Martin Auer worked in the credit department with responsibility for corporate customers.
Auer has worked for the is group since 1997, and, since the company went public in 2000, has been a member of the is AG Management Board and CFO of the is group.

Auer holds the following positions in is subsidiaries: CEO of the is Industrie Software GmbH, CEO of is global engineering holding GmbH Austria, Vice President of Finance of Global Engineering Services, Inc. Atlanta, CEO of sport-is GmbH Austria, Vice President of the Supervisory Board is Industrial Services AG, Switzerland. Martin Auer is married with one daughter and one son.
